As the Right-of-Way (ROW) Coordinator at Finolex Cables Ltd., you will be responsible for managing all aspects of right-of-way acquisition and coordination for our projects. Person should have ability to get ROW from concerned authorities. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to secure necessary permissions and easements for the installation and maintenance of our cables. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ROW regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
1.ROW Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement right-of-way acquisition strategies for projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project timelines. Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to identify potential right-of-way challenges and opportunities.
2.Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government agencies, landowners, utilities, and other stakeholders to negotiate and secure necessary permissions for right-of-way access. Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, addressing concerns and resolving disputes as needed.
3.Permitting and Documentation: Prepare and submit permit applications, easement agreements, and other documentation required for right-of-way acquisition. Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
4.Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to coordinate right-of-way activities and ensure alignment with project schedules. Monitor project progress and address any right-of-way issues or delays that may arise.
5.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with right-of-way acquisition, including legal, environmental, and community-related concerns. Implement strategies to minimize project disruptions and avoid costly delays.
6.Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for right-of-way acquisition, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions. Negotiate compensation agreements with landowners and utilities, maximizing value while staying within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor degree in Engineering in any stream / MBA or Diploma with relevant experience of 8-10 years experience.
7-10 years of experience in right-of-way acquisition or land management, preferably in the utilities or infrastructure sector.
Strong knowledge of right-of-way regulations, easement agreements, and land acquisition processes.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel to project sites and attend meetings with stakeholders.
