As the Right-of-Way (ROW) Coordinator at Finolex CablesLtd., you will be responsible for managing all aspects of right-of-wayacquisition and coordination for our projects. Person should have ability toget ROW from concerned authorities. This role involves working closely withvarious stakeholders to secure necessary permissions and easements for theinstallation and maintenance of our cables. The ideal candidate will have astrong understanding of ROW regulations, excellent communication skills, and theability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
1.ROW Planning and Strategy: Develop and implementright-of-way acquisition strategies for projects, ensuring compliance withregulatory requirements and project timelines. Conduct feasibility studies andsite assessments to identify potential right-of-way challenges andopportunities.
2.Stakeholder Management: Liaise with governmentagencies, landowners, utilities, and other stakeholders to negotiate and securenecessary permissions for right-of-way access. Build and maintain positiverelationships with stakeholders, addressing concerns and resolving disputes asneeded.
3.Permitting and Documentation: Prepare and submitpermit applications, easement agreements, and other documentation required forright-of-way acquisition. Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, andcompliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
4.Project Coordination: Collaborate with projectmanagers, engineers, and contractors to coordinate right-of-way activities andensure alignment with project schedules. Monitor project progress and addressany right-of-way issues or delays that may arise.
5.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potentialrisks associated with right-of-way acquisition, including legal, environmental,and community-related concerns. Implement strategies to minimize projectdisruptions and avoid costly delays.
6.Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and managebudgets for right-of-way acquisition, tracking expenses and ensuringcost-effective solutions. Negotiate compensation agreements with landowners andutilities, maximizing value while staying within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications andSkills:
Bachelor degree inEngineering in any stream / MBA or Diploma with relevant experience of 8-10 years experience.
7-10 years of experience inright-of-way acquisition or land management, preferably in the utilities orinfrastructure sector.
Strong knowledge ofright-of-way regulations, easement agreements, and land acquisition processes.
Excellent negotiation andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus among diversestakeholders.
Proficiency in projectmanagement software and Microsoft Office suite.
Attention to detail andability to work effectively under pressure.
