Job brief
We are looking for an Internal auditor whowould add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic anddisciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, andgovernance processes. The candidate should possess basic to expert knowledge ofaccounting procedures and a sound judgement.
Experience:
Experience in internalaudit of manufacturing concerns and in SAP is desirable. Articleship experiencewith a renowned audit firm would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
IndependentlyPerform Internal audit reviews of various areas of the company, assess controlsover operational efficiencies, financial reliability and compliance withapplicable directives, regulations, policies and procedures.
Assistthe Head of Internal Audit in finalizing the audit scope and develop annualplans.
Obtain, analyze andevaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, process flowcharts, etc.
Ensurethe timely and accurate completion of the audit plan.
Prepareand present reports that reflect audit results and document process.
Assistthe Head of Internal Audit in preparation of Audit Committee Reports andpapers.
Identify red flags or as suggested bymanagement and Investigate these red flags to find cause of concern and rootcause. Prepare Investigation Report based on findings.
Conductfollow up audits to monitor managements interventions.
Engageto continuous knowledge development regarding sector s rules, regulations, bestpractices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
CharteredAccountant / Inter CA / Inter ICWA with proven workingexperience in Manufacturing Industry as an Internal Audit with minimum 3-4years experience.
Advancedcomputer skills on MS Office / Excel, Working knowledge of SAP and databases.
Abilityto manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
Knowledgeof auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
