Reconcile freight charges, identify discrepancies, find root causes of billing errors, and implement corrective actions.
Prepare detailed freight analysis reports.
Manage freight invoices and assist with disputes.
Track carrier performances, identify and address performance issues, and maintain up-to-date pricing information.
Manage in-house freight tables to ensure accurate data mapping with company inbound/outbound transactions. Identify and implement logistics best practices for operational efficiency.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to address freight-related issues
Participate actively in freight rate and contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms to maintain freight margins.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's/ Masters degree
Minimum of 8+ years in the Fright / Logistics domain
Strong proficiency in Excel(advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Ability to analyze and interpret freight data.
Knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations.
Strong communication skills for handling invoice disputes and managing contracts.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Experience in managing shipping line contracts and rates is a plus.
