Logistics Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile freight charges, identify discrepancies, find root causes of billing errors, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed freight analysis reports.
• Manage freight invoices and assist with disputes.
• Track carrier performances, identify and address performance issues, and maintain up-to-date pricing information.
• Manage in-house freight tables to ensure accurate data mapping with company inbound/outbound transactions. Identify and implement logistics best practices for operational efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address freight-related issues
• Participate actively in freight rate and contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms to maintain freight margins.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's/ Masters degree
• Minimum of 8+ years in the Fright / Logistics domain
• Strong proficiency in Excel(advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Ability to analyze and interpret freight data.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Strong communication skills for handling invoice disputes and managing contracts.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in managing shipping line contracts and rates is a plus.
