As a Java Developer, you ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications. Your work will often involve mission-critical systems that are high-volume and low-latency. Here are the key skills and responsibilities:
o Core Java Skills:
Proficiency in Core Java and J2EE.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience with Java Build tools like Maven and Gradle.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and cache reloading.
o Spring Framework:
Familiarity with Spring MVC (Model-View-Controller) framework.
o Configuration Management with Bitbucket:
Proficiency in using Git for version control.
Experience with Bitbucket for managing repositories, branches, and pull requests.
Familiarity with Git workflows (e.g., Gitflow, feature branching).
Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
o Microservices (Added Advantage):
Exposure to Microservices architecture.
o Database Knowledge:
Understanding of Relational Databases (e.g., Oracle, EDB Postgres).
SQL query optimization and fine-tuning skills.
