UK Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review annual statutory accounts for group subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including PSA, VAT, and corporation tax filings.
• Support the financial reporting team during month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform reconciliations and analyses to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Manage ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy in financial reporting and compliance tasks.
• Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Minimum of 1 year in bookkeeping and year-end processes for UK clients.
• Proficiency in Xero, Sage, and Excel.
• Experience with posting daily invoices, bills, and journals.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations using relevant software.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, CA inter, MBA, or M.Com/B.Com.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
