Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Drive annual budgeting processes and periodic re-forecasting.
- Create detailed financial models to project revenues, costs, and profitability.
Variance Analysis:
- Analyze variances between actuals and budgets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Present findings to senior management with clear recommendations for corrective actions.
MIS and Reporting:
- Prepare and present management reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
- Ensure timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports.
Business Finance Management (BFM):
Revenue Assurance:
- Ensure accurate invoicing and timely recognition of revenue.
- Monitor receivables and coordinate collections to minimize outstanding dues.
Cost Management:
- Analyze and control operational expenses.
- Conduct Opex mapping to ensure alignment with budgets.
Profitability Analysis:
- Assess business unit performance, focusing on gross margin and contribution margin metrics.
- Evaluate pricing strategies and profitability of new projects or clients.
Client and Project Management Support:
- Assist in pricing negotiations and SOW reviews to ensure financial viability.
- Monitor project profitability and identify areas of over/under servicing.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with HR, Sales, and Operations teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Provide insights to drive operational efficiency, workforce utilization, and resource optimization.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in audits and ensure accurate documentation of financial processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certifications like CA/CPA/CMA/MBA (Finance) are preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A or business finance roles within the IT/ITES industry.
