Job Overview:

The Sr. Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis will play a key role in driving the financial performance of the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting functions, supporting the business with strategic insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Planning & Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, including liaising with various departments to align financial plans with business objectives.

- Forecasting: Develop accurate financial forecasts and proactively monitor financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities.

- Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to support decision-making.

- Reporting: Prepare and present periodic financial reports to senior management, providing insights into performance, growth, and profitability.

- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business heads, providing financial insights and support to drive performance improvements.

- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost optimization strategies and efficiency improvements across the organization.

- Profitability Analysis: Analyze business unit profitability, product profitability, and provide insights on maximizing financial returns.

- Capex & Opex Management: Track and analyze capital expenditures (Capex) and operational expenditures (Opex) against budgets.

- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to support new business initiatives, M&A, or strategic projects.

- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.

Key Requirements:

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.

- Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience with at least 6+ years in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.

- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working closely with senior leadership.

- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and presentation tools.

- Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

- Experience in the Manufacturing, Technology, or FMCG sectors.

- Exposure to global financial practices or working with multinational organization
