Android Developer - Java/Kotlin (2-4 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Work with external APIs and data sources (REST/JSON).

- Identify and fix bugs, improve application performance, and ensure the stability and scalability of Android apps.

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

- Maintain a high level of code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and test automation.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and contribute to team improvement and success.

- Ensure apps comply with design standards, security practices, and Google Play Store guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications :

- 2 to 4 years of experience in Android application development.

- Proficient in Kotlin and Java.

- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

- Experience with Android Jetpack components (Room, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, WorkManager).

- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.

- Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (Retrofit, Dagger, etc.)

- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.

- Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools such as Android Studio Profiler.

- Knowledge of MVVM/MVP architecture patterns.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSocket, and GraphQL.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Familiar with the process of publishing apps to Google Play Store.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with React Native or Flutter.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.

- Experience with Android NDK (Native Development Kit).

- Knowledge of mobile security best practices
