Quality Engineer / Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes.
• Develop QAP / ITP with required procedures and get customer approvals for projects
• Conduct inspections and tests throughout the manufacturing process.
• Manage inspections with customers and TPI
• Co-ordinate and expedite materials to ensure timely delivery of jobs, ensure receiving timely dispatch clearance from customers
• Prepare final documents and dossier sets and ensure customer approvals for final submissions
• Analyze data and prepare reports on quality metrics and trends.
• Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product reliability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation of quality assurance activities and audits like WPS PQR, calibration, etc. Managing audits by customers and various TPI agencies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment for pressure vessels or filters and strainers
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
• Experience in working with customers such as IOCL, EIL, NTPC, NPCIL, BHEL, etc
• Proficient in using measuring and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality frameworks.
• Knowledge of ASME codes, material grades, welding process, painting & its testing requirement.
• NDT Level II in RT, DPT, MPT & UT.
• Able to review MTC with respective standard & specification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
