Background to the client and role:
- Our client is a leading Indian Conglomerate with multiple businesses. Reporting to the CEO Group Chairman Office, the role is responsible for financial management, managing digital transformation programs, evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting on all strategic initiatives across the group.
Responsibilities:
- Management of Chairman's office
- Performance Management & Budgeting: Independently handling business planning, budgeting and business performance review
- Analysis of Budgets and financial statements: Identify areas of cost control and cost reduction, financial restructuring including reduction of finance charges and correctness and control over Budget vs. Actual Revenue and Expenditure
- Support in Annual Operating Planning exercise
Education:
- Chartered Accountant degree is mandatory
Experience:
- 10 to 18 years' experience of overall experience
- Strong background in finance controllership roles is mandatory
- Experience in roles in project financing or financial planning & analysis would be a huge plus
- Good financial and commercial acumen, project management skills, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with a strong drive for execution and result orientation
