Senior Team Lead - Finance/Accounting

POSITION SUMMARY

Senior Team Lead AR/Reporting/Analytics is primarily responsible for work allocation, reporting & analytics within the AR/Revenue Accounting function. The key deliverables of this role will include but are not limited to management of AR shared mailbox thru proper allocation of emails & prompt response/action on each email/task.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take responsibility & challenge to be mentor of group.
• Oversee the operations of the accounting function, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
• Support all internal & external reporting requirements of AR group.
• Proper management of AR shared mailbox: allocation of emails to respective team members & ensure prompt response/action on each email.
• Develop & publish reporting metrics of KPIs.
• Train, develop and lead the AR/Reporting/Analytics group with the goal of maximizing the strengths of each team member to create an efficient, high functioning team

• Evaluating Accounting and internal control systems.
• Assist in internal and external audits as & when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team.

• Graduation (Bachelors’) in Business, Accounting or Finance; Masters’ degree will be an advantage
• 8+ years professional hands-on accounting experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and/or Oracle Netsuite is strongly preferred
• Exposure to other popular Accounting applications such as Tally, QuickBooks
• Experience with Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel knowledge required
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving ability
• Flexibility to grow and change with company needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
