Theka Coffee is a growing business in the retail cart industry, specializing in cold coffee, mol shakes, ice cream and other FMCG products. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who has worked in similar businesses and understands the financial dynamics of retail cart operations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager with experience in the retail cart business, particularly in the ice cream and FMCG sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and ensuring profitability. They should have strong analytical skills and the ability to optimize financial processes for a fast-moving consumer business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for retail cart operations.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
• Optimize pricing strategies and cost control to improve margins.
• Analyze sales data, operational costs, and profitability of different locations.
• Handle vendor payments, inventory financing, and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, GST, and other regulatory requirements.
• Implement financial controls and reporting mechanisms to track daily sales and expenses.
• Provide insights to management on financial trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Work closely with operations and marketing teams to improve business efficiency.
• Manage audits, financial statements, and MIS reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8-12 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the retail cart business (ice cream, FMCG, or similar).
• CA/MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of retail sales, inventory management, and cost control.
• Experience in taxation, GST filing, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software (Tally, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in franchise or multi-location retail businesses.
• Knowledge of digital payment systems and financial technology solutions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
