D365 Functional Consultant (Finance & Operations)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic D365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) Finance Consultant with 4+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in implementing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO Finance modules. The candidate will possess a strong understanding of business processes and have the ability to deliver high-quality, customized solutions tailored to client needs. This role requires collaboration with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of finance solutions in D365 FO.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation and Customization:

• Lead or support the implementation of D365 FO Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank Management.
• Customize and configure D365 FO Finance modules to meet client-specific requirements.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of financial solutions, covering requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Business Process Analysis and Consultation:

• Analyze and document current financial processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement.
• Consult with clients to ensure that solutions align with their business goals, focusing on optimizing financial processes through D365 FO.

Data Management and Integration:

• Assist with data migration activities to ensure accuracy and consistency during the implementation phase.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate D365 FO with other enterprise systems and tools, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.

Training and Support:

• Conduct user training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of the D365 FO Finance modules.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and identifying opportunities for system enhancements.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest D365 FO features, updates, and industry trends.
• Recommend enhancements and improvements to current processes to ensure optimal system utilization and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience with D365 FO or AX, specializing in finance modules.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing D365 FO Finance modules.
• Proficiency in writing functional documentation, creating workflows, and modeling business processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant certification.
• Experience with RSAT, Power BI, Power Automate, or other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Familiarity with integration tools like Azure Logic Apps, Data Entities, or SSIS.
• Knowledge of agile project delivery methodologies.
