Job Summary
The Assistant Bartender supports the bartending team by preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment. The role includes assisting with drink preparation, restocking supplies, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities - Beverage Preparation & Service : Assist with making alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks (coffee, cocktails, smoothies), ensuring drinks meet the cafes standards.
- Customer Service : Greet customers, take orders, offer recommendations, and resolve concerns promptly.
- Bar Maintenance & Cleanliness : Keep the bar clean, stock supplies, and assist with inventory management.
- Support Bartending Team : Help with cocktail garnishes, prep ingredients, and assist during busy periods.
- Cash Handling : Process payments accurately and maintain the POS system.
- Health & Safety Compliance : Adhere to food and alcohol safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards.
