Overview

The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of our organization in the dynamic marketplace of Mumbai. This position is crucial for establishing relationships with potential clients, generating leads, and converting these opportunities into sales. As a key member of the team, the Business Development Executive will be involved in strategic planning and execution aimed at expanding our market presence. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong background in sales and marketing, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The emphasis will be on building sustainable business relationships that enhance our company s credibility and value proposition.

Key Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities in various market segments.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials.
Participate in networking events and trade shows to generate leads.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients to meet revenue goals.
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
Collaborate with the product development team to align product offerings with market demand.
Provide exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction post-sale.
Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up with leads.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM software.
Identify areas for process improvement and suggest enhancements.
Remain updated on the company s products and services to effectively sell offerings.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or sales.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
Strong understanding of market research techniques and data analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport and foster strong relationships with clients.
Demonstrated negotiation and closing skills.
Familiarity with CRM software and data management systems.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Willingness to travel when necessary for client meetings and events.
Knowledge of industry-specific trends and dynamics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and company priorities.
Experience in the tech/startup sector is a plus.
