Job Description

Overview
The Business Development Executive (BDE) plays a critical role in the growth and success of the organization by identifying new business opportunities and driving sales. This position requires a proactive mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with clients. The BDE will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales. In a competitive market such as Mumbai, the BDE must stay abreast of industry trends and customer needs, creating tailored solutions that meet client objectives. Additionally, this role emphasizes the importance of collaboration with various departments, including marketing and product development, to create a cohesive approach to achieving business goals. Successful BDEs will not only contribute to revenue growth but will also enhance the overall brand image of the company through effective communication and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and research.
  • Generate leads and schedule appointments with potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials.
  • Track and report on sales metrics and performance to management.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to promote the company.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and follow up with prospects regularly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty.
  • Assist in developing pricing strategies and sales forecasts.
  • Work closely with the product development team to enhance offerings.
  • Continuously seek out new training and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events occasionally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to handle objections and close deals effectively.
  • Networking skills to build relationships within the industry.
  • Familiarity with online marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • A license to operate a vehicle may be required for client visits.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
