E-Commerce Specialist

Position Summary: The E-Commerce Specialist will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of our online sales channels. This includes overseeing the e-commerce platform, digital marketing initiatives, customer experience, inventory management, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce within the manufacturing or construction industry, with a deep understanding of product listings, online retail trends, and customer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy to increase online sales for our racks and storage products.
• Manage and optimize online product listings across various platforms (company website, third-party marketplaces, etc.).
• Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Development) to ensure accurate product information, pricing, and promotions are reflected on digital platforms.
• Monitor and manage online inventory levels, ensuring timely updates on stock availability.
• Drive digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, and email campaigns to enhance visibility and drive traffic to our e-commerce platforms.
• Analyse e-commerce data and performance metrics to inform business decisions and strategy adjustments.
• Implement strategies to improve user experience, optimize conversion rates, and increase online customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a competitive analysis to identify market trends and best practices in e-commerce for the engineering construction sector.
• Support customer service efforts related to online inquiries, orders, and returns.
• Monitor and respond to customer feedback, reviews, and complaints on e-commerce platforms.
• Stay current with emerging e-commerce technologies, trends, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
• Proven experience in e-commerce, preferably within the engineering, manufacturing, or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar).
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies (SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media).
• Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, e-commerce tracking, etc.).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Knowledge of online customer behavior and trends.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing business requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with product photography, content management, and product SEO.
• Experience with B2B e-commerce platforms.
• Understanding of supply chain and logistics management in an online retail context.
