Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the lighting or construction industry.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for facade lighting projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project timelines.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supplier networks.
- Monitor and control procurement costs to stay within project budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure all procured materials and services meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming materials.
- Collaborate with project teams to address any quality issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inventory effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns with suppliers promptly.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
- Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs.
