We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to join our team. The Procurement Engineer will manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for our facade lighting projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the lighting or construction industry.
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.

Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for facade lighting projects.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project timelines.
Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supplier networks.
Monitor and control procurement costs to stay within project budgets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.
Prepare and manage procurement budgets and forecasts.
Ensure all procured materials and services meet quality standards and specifications.
Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming materials.
Collaborate with project teams to address any quality issues or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inventory effectively.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Address and resolve any issues or concerns with suppliers promptly.
Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and performance.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs.
