As Senior Staff Software Engineer, youll operate in lock-step with product management to create a clear strategic direction for build needs. Youll direct the team with a clear set of requirements captured as stories and collaborate to determine deliverables based on need.

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the successful execution of software projects, meeting client expectations and driving innovation in software development

• Guiding and overseeing the technical aspects of a companys web development projects.

• Overseeing project timelines, resources, and deliverables

• Creating guidelines, templates, processes, tools that help their team deliver high-quality work, meet deadlines, and solve problems

• Monitoring and evaluate the performance and outcomes of their practice, and identify areas for improvement or innovation.

• Guiding and leading team members with their technical tasks, eliminating technical blockers

• Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams to implement solutions across platforms

• Applying software development life-cycle principles and methodologies such as Agile & Scrum, to continuously improve our code and processes

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have skills in Commercial C / C++ / FORTRAN development for Windows Desktop

• Have minimum 15 years of software development experience

• Have excellent communication skills and experience as a Technical Leader

• Have strong experience in software engineering developing enterprise applications

• Have experience in developing, testing, delivering, and maintaining production quality software.

• Have deep focus on system design expertise

• Have architecturally astute in OOP, SOA, SOLID principles

• Have methodical with test, debug, and version control

• Have experience with algorithm development and optimisation

• Have experience with engineering/scientific applications

• Have knowledge of Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, XP)

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Be able to implement secure coding practices to protect against vulnerabilities

• Have creative mindset with a high attention to detail

• Have ownership mindset. Driven and determined to deliver.

• Eager to take the initiative to solve problems
