Job Description

Time Writing Coordination : Ensure completeness of time writing and billing flow

Project Set-Up and Maintenance : Manage project set-up, ongoing maintenance, and stewardship

Accounting : Perform basic accounting entries in compliance with accounting and reporting standards

Balance Sheet Reconciliations : Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations

Billing Systems Maintenance : Maintain tables in various billing systems (customers, cost objects, services, contracts, etc.)

Billing System Close-Out : Process close-out of applicable billing / timewriting systems and perform appropriate closing checks

Cost Recovery Calculation : Calculate recovery position and segmentation (Billed vs. Actual costs comparison)

Unbilled Verification: Determine if Unbilled Verified are needed and inform appropriate FCCR/Cost Management contacts

True-Ups and Catch-Ups : Process true-ups as needed

Inquiries : Respond to recovery and analysis inquiries promptly and accurately

Compliance : Ensure work processes comply with relevant process controls requirements

About you

Required qualifications & Skills

Education : Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience in Accounting / Finance activities preferably in cost recovery, billing, or a related field, preferably within the oil and gas industry
Skills :

Understanding of accounting principles and practices
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
Experience with SAP, Group Reporting, Blackline, Workiva or analytics tools such as PowerBI?
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Proficiency in English
Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Resilience, flexibility, and agility

Preferred Skills ( Good to have )

A degree from a university in the U.S., U.K., Australia or other English speaking international institution;
You are a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
