Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Complete I-9 forms and perform E-Verify checks for new hires, ensuring compliance with U.S. immigration laws.
- Review and verify employee documents for authenticity (e.g., passports, permanent resident cards).
- Track and audit I-9 records for expiring documentation and manage re-verification as needed.
- Provide support during internal or external audits related to I-9 or E-Verify compliance.
- Train HR teams on I-9 and E-Verify procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in employment law, immigration rules, and USCIS guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in I-9 verification and E-Verify, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment compliance and Form I-9 requirements.
- Experience using Paycom for managing high volumes of verifications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
Qualification Required:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar profile.
- Candidate must be comfortable working in the night shift.
- This is a remote WFH opportunity.
- High-speed internet and power backup are required.
