Sr Qlik Developer

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Qlik Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in QlikSense development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data visualizations, dashboards, and reports in Qlik platforms. You will work closely with business users and technical teams to deliver insights that drive business decisions while maintaining a high standard of code quality, performance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qlik Application Development: Design and develop QlikSense dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements. Ensure applications are user-friendly and highly interactive.
• Data Modeling & Scripting: Create and optimize data models in QlikSense to support large datasets and complex analytics. Use Qlik scripting (Qlik Script) for data transformation, load processes, and data integration.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Qlik applications for performance, including enhancing the speed of data load, improving user experience, and ensuring dashboards perform efficiently at scale.
• Data Integration: Integrate Qlik applications with multiple data sources (SQL databases, web services, and other data systems) to ensure accurate and timely data reporting.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business users to understand requirements and provide technical solutions. Communicate effectively to translate business needs into Qlik solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of Qlik applications to ensure that the solutions meet business requirements, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Document technical specifications, solutions, and processes. Follow best practices for Qlik development and contribute to process improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new features and best practices in Qlik products. Proactively suggest improvements and help implement upgrades to Qlik solutions.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Qlik applications, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.

Key Skill & Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in developing Qlik applications using QlikSense.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in QlikSense including scripting (Qlik Script), data modeling, and creating complex visualizations.
  • Proficient in SQL for querying databases and integrating data.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data transformation in Qlik.
  • Experience with data integration from multiple sources, including databases, flat files, REST APIs, and web services.
  • Familiarity with Qlik extensions and mashups.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning for QlikSense applications.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.
• Documentation: Ability to create detailed documentation for solutions, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guides.
• Tools: Experience with BI tools such as QlikSense
