Software Developer

Overview:
We are seeking a talented and driven Python Developer with a solid understanding of AWS and experience in building data solutions. This role emphasizes Python programming, cloud-based data workflows, and the ability to implement data serving layers through APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, an understanding of data engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize Python-based solutions for data processing, transformation, and analysis.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and store data efficiently.

• Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, RDS, EC2) to implement and deploy data workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with applications and analytics tools.
• Build and maintain data serving layers and APIs to enable seamless data access for downstream systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure performance and reliability.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance by adhering to organizational policies and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Skills Required:

• Programming: Proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries for data processing and automation (e.g., Pandas, PySpark).
• Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of AWS services and infrastructure, including hands-on experience with core tools like S3, Lambda, EC2, and RDS.
• Data Engineering Basics: Foundational knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques.
• API Development: Experience in building and maintaining APIs for data access and integration.
• Databases: Proficient in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and basic understanding of NoSQL databases.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve data-related issues.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Role Requirement:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Python development and AWS, with exposure to data engineering concepts.
• Technologies: Python, AWS (S3, Lambda, RDS), REST APIs, relational databases, ETL workflows.
• Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks, data warehousing concepts, and cloud infrastructure is a plus but not mandatory.
