Tester

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. As a member of our QA team, you will perform manual and automated tests to identify defects and work closely with developers to improve the software development process.

• Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and technical specifications.
• Manual & Automated Testing: Perform both manual testing for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), as well as automation using testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or other related frameworks.
• Bug Reporting & Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects in a timely manner using a bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to ensure software meets the required quality standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist in the continuous improvement of the testing process, tools, and methodologies to enhance test effectiveness and efficiency.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing and identify potential bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or areas for optimization.
• Regression Testing: Execute regression tests to ensure new features do not negatively affect existing functionality.
• Test Documentation: Maintain and update test documentation as needed, ensuring all tests are well-documented and reusable for future testing cycles.
• Test Reporting: Provide clear and comprehensive test reports to project stakeholders, outlining test results, defects, and areas for improvement

• 3-4 years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, TestNG, JUnit).
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and query testing.
• Understanding of web services testing (SOAP, REST) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases, reports, and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues proactively.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Experience in Agile environments is a plus
