AWS Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge data engineering
projects for our esteemed client, HDFC Bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data pipeline
development, cloud computing, and data engineering principles, with expertise in AWS services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines on AWS.
2. Implement and optimize ETL processes to ingest and process large datasets from diverse sources.
3. Work with cloud-native tools and technologies, such as AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, S3, Athena, and EMR.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
5. Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of data engineering solutions.
6. Develop and manage data lake and data warehouse solutions on AWS.
7. Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills:
1. Strong experience in AWS data engineering and cloud-based architectures.
2. Proficiency in ETL processes and tools, including AWS Glue and Lambda.
3. Hands-on experience with data lake and data warehouse solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Redshift).
4. Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets.
5. Programming skills in languages like Python, PySpark, or Scala.
6. Familiarity with data modeling, data governance, and data security principles.
7. Experience with streaming data workflows and tools such as Kinesis or Kafka is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
2. Familiarity with machine learning workflows and integration of predictive models into data pipelines.
3. Exposure to data visualization tools such as QuickSight or Tableau.
4. Certification in AWS Data Analytics or AWS Certified Solutions Architect is an added advantage.
Educational Background:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
