Business Intelligence Developer

Role Overview:

The Qlik Sense Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data visualizations and dashboards using Qlik Sense. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in Qlik Sense, project planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data visualization, analytics, and working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights. Proficiency in data modeling and integration, as well as experience with data engineering principles, will be essential for effectively supporting and driving data-driven decision-making processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Migration Planning and Execution
• Plan and execute the migration of existing QlikView applications to Qlik Sense.
• Analyze current QlikView reports and dashboards to understand data sources, data models, and user requirements.
• Develop and implement migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Development and Optimization
• Design and develop Qlik Sense applications and dashboards that meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
• Optimize data models and visualization techniques to improve performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
• Collaboration and Support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and IT support, to ensure successful migration and implementation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Qlik Sense applications post-migration.
• Train end-users and stakeholders on new Qlik Sense functionalities and best practices.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Document migration processes, data models, and application designs for future reference and compliance.
• Prepare and present reports on migration progress, challenges, and solutions to management and stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in QlikView and Qlik Sense development and migration.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, data integration, and visualization.
• Proficiency in SQL and other data query languages.
• Experience with Qlik Sense security and governance features.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
