Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software applications and solutions that meet both technical and business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, project managers, and system architects, to develop applications that support our company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in .NET technologies, hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using the .NET framework (ASP.NET Core, .NET 6/7/8, etc.).

• Build RESTful APIs and services, integrating with front-end systems and ensuring seamless functionality across applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

1. System Architecture and Design:

• Collaborate with software architects to design and implement software solutions that are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Participate in the architectural design and decision-making process to ensure scalable and efficient applications.
• Utilize microservices architecture where applicable and design systems that allow for easy scaling and maintenance.

1. Database Management:

• Design, implement, and optimize database structures (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.), ensuring data integrity and efficient performance.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application functionality.

1. Project Collaboration and Mentorship:

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including QA, front-end, and DevOps, to ensure project alignment and quality.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

1. Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality code and prevent regressions.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to conduct code reviews and resolve issues to meet quality standards.

1. Maintenance and Support:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues, providing timely support and resolving critical bugs.
• Continuously improve application performance and functionality, addressing technical debt and updating code as needed.

1. Documentation and Best Practices:

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for code, design specifications, and configurations.
• Follow and enforce best practices for .NET development, including code structure, version control, and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development, with a focus on building web applications and APIs.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong expertise in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
• Proficient in front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus.
• Familiarity/experience with Blazor.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and understanding of cloud-native development.
• Experience with Azure Functions and other Azure Services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Blob Storage, and Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, including authentication and authorization standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).
• Proficient in using Git or other version control systems and experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of hosting applications on IIS, containers, and Azure App Service.
• Familiarity with .NET Background Services.

• Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are advantageous.
