Job Description
The team works closely with tax, accounting, investor relations, payments, product and legal to ensure liquidity and funding for the business across the globe.
In this position on our Global Banking and Business Enablement Team, you will play an integral role in managing the bank relationships and banking activity.
In this role, you will:
- Responsible for bank account management including account openings, closures, signer changes, and online banking.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for global banking products and services to corporate stakeholders.
- Partner with legal and our global banking partners to ensure that all bank accounts and subsidiaries are compliant with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
- Act as administrator for online banking systems and assist users with access management and troubleshooting.
- Perform periodic Sarbanes-Oxley user access and segregation of duties reviews for banking users to ensure strong internal controls.
- Responsible for the end-to-end administration of in-house bank (IHB) accounts
- Review, managing, and track intraday overdraft facilities
- Maintain excellent, extremely time-sensitive communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, automate, and create new reporting and metrics for distribution to senior management.
- Be a positive representative for Expedia Treasury to banks, vendors, corporate treasuries, and other outside organizations.
- Assist or lead additional ad hoc support projects/initiatives.
Experience and qualifications:
- You have a bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Data science or in a related field; or equivalent professional experience
- You have 2+ years of experience working in banking, corporate treasury, corporate accounting, or comparable finance areas
- You are able to work and communicate clearly with internal and external partners
- You have knowledge of banking regulations, banking practices, cash management and foreign exchange
- You have strong organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- You are an advanced user in Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
