Job Description

Were on the search for an Senior Account Manager, to join our Private Label Solutions (PLS) team in Gurgaon. Private Label Solutions leverages the best of the Expedia Group s partner-facing APIs and template products with a laser focus on B2B , powering hundreds of partners around the world. As the Expedia Group s partner-focused arm, PLS mission is to provide its partners with solutions to fuel their growth. PLS partners with businesses across a wide range of verticals, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agents, corporate travel management companies and online retailers who remarket PLS rates and availabilities to their travellers.

What youll do:

  • Grow and manage a portfolio of existing and new PLS partners across India
  • Account ownership of partner relationships post-launch with clear profitability/revenue targets and the identification and development of incremental revenue opportunities.
  • Management of a mix of partners from multiple segment with clear profitability/revenue targets.
  • Build effective client relationships and lead complex commercial negotiations with Directors and C-suite levels.
  • Influence the decision making of both internal and external stakeholders through formal and informal negotiations / discussions
  • Travel regularly and meet partners face-to-face. Travel requirements are both domestic and international.
  • Provide ongoing input to senior management in developing effective and scalable solutions to improve process efficiencies.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management, preferably in online travel / commerce / retailing / portals
  • Proficient in Hindi and English with an ability to communicate with partners at a professional level
  • Strong understanding of hotel B2B distribution in India and APAC.
  • Strong relationship / communication skills; required as role is client facing, involving client contact in negotiation and in ongoing partner contact.
  • Previous experience in leading complex commercial negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under deadline.
  • Extensive e-commerce experience and familiarity with e-commerce / e-marketing metrics and their management is highly desirable.
  • Understands financial indicators, manages budgets, and uses financial analysis to make strategic decisions and drive profitability.
  • Technical Project Management experience, a plus.
  • A good understanding of the internet technologies used in the travel industry, a plus
