Director - Credit & Risk Analytics

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Credit Risk Strategy & Framework: Develop and implement end-to-end credit risk strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.

- Portfolio Risk Management: Oversee portfolio performance, manage credit limits, and ensure proactive risk identification and mitigation.

- Data-Driven Insights: Work closely with data science teams to refine risk models, improve customer segmentation, and predict defaults.

- Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk policies while maintaining strong governance practices.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and finance teams to align risk strategies with business initiatives.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 10+ years of credit risk management experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in BNPL or consumer finance.

- Expertise in credit risk modeling, analytics (SAS, R, Python), and data-driven decision-making.

- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.

- Master's degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field (MBA/PhD is a plus).
