Linux Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems.
• Design and implement automation scripts for efficient system administration.
• Monitor and enhance system performance, ensuring security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime.
• Leverage tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef for configuration management.
• Perform regular system updates, patch management, and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop scalable solutions.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to users and IT staff.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu) administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl).
• Experience in automating system administration tasks.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting Linux systems.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like RHCSA, RHCE.
