Senior Manager Material Planning

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager Material Planning to optimize material flow, ensure seamless production, and lead our material planning processes with precision and strategic vision.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and Inventory Management:
  
• Monitor scheduling processes to ensure timely supply of materials, meeting production demands, and maintaining inventory at defined stock levels.
• Plan, develop, and evaluate material delivery processes from suppliers to production points, aligning with planning assumptions.
• Operations and Risk Management:
  
• Oversee daily order management and delivery coordination.
• Identify and mitigate risks to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
• Implement follow-up actions to address material shortages impacting production.
• Continuous Improvement:
  
• Uphold process standards and targets, supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• System Utilization and Data Management:
  
• Utilize the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, ensuring data accuracy and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor and manage the integrity of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory accuracy.
• Inventory Optimization:
  
• Monitor inventory levels against targets, conducting checks to validate accuracy.
• Minimize obsolete stock and mitigate business liabilities.
• Reporting and Coordination:
  
• Generate statistical reports, analyses, and updates for cross-functional teams (CFT).
• Achieve Inventory Turnover (ITO) and Days of Supply (DOS) targets by collaborating with Warehouse and Logistics teams.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably in battery cell production or similar industries.
• Expertise in establishing and managing materials planning processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex manufacturing environments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
