Role & responsibilities
a) Strong knowledge of Labour laws, Model Standing Orders, ID Act, Factories Act.
b) Compliance under various statues.
c) Strong Experience on handling Absenteeism cases related to permanent workmen.
d) Knowledge & experience in Disciplinary actions.
e) Grievance handling.
f) Implementation for various IR policies.
g) Liaisoning with different Govt. authorities.
h) Payroll Management for permanent workmen.
i) Dealing with Union leaders on daily basis for routine matters.
j) Managing day to day Employee Relation activities in a very peaceful and amicable manner thus ensuring Industrial peace within the organization and ensuring zero-man hour loss due to any IR issues.
k) Training & Development of Blue collar.
l) Engagement Activities for Blue collar.
m) Ensuring smooth functioning of welfare activities.
n) Knowledge of reading & writing in local language will be an added advantage.
Preferred candidate profile
Strong Knowledge of Labour Laws.
Experience in handling IR / Unions.
Good leadership skills & should be able to work in group & teams.
Good Interpersonal Skill, Communication Skill, Observational Skill.
Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
Speaking Marathi is mandatory.
