Role & responsibilities

To take overall responsibility for functioning of Engineering services and projects at Taloja plant. To comply various statutory norms as per MPCB, Factory Rules & Dept of explosive.

• To Achieve Production Targets in Factory by ensuring Minimal Downtime in Mechanical, Electrical & Utility services.
• To ensure smooth functioning of all utility / Pollution Control Services at Taloja.
• To plan activities like Spare Management, preventive maintenance schedules, implementation of CLIT.
• To initiate / plan / implement projects for capacity, install pollution control devices to comply statutory norms.
• To achieve savings on account of vendor development, energy savings, planning etc.
• Monitoring and control of all expenses in the area of indirect labor, repairs and maintenance, consumables, fuel, overtime.
• To ensure meeting of the legal requirements, consent compliance, statutory legal returns and maintain cordial relations with various government agencies.
• To initiate immediate action in case of violations if any.
• To coordinate with vendors, logistics to develop local spares.

To assess competency of subordinates, training needs and arrange for training

Preferred candidate profile

Engineering Graduate with a minimum of 15 year experience in manufacturing units.

• Must have leadership qualities.
• Must have expertise to handle projects and pollution related activities.
• Must have liaisoning power with external agencies.
• Must be receptive.
• Must have utility problem handling skills.
• Must be conscientious.

Must have positive attitude.
