RFP Specialist

Job Summary: The RFP Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from potential clients. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams to prepare comprehensive, competitive, and compliant proposals, ensuring alignment with EvGateways strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proposal Development:
• Analyze and interpret RFP requirements to develop tailored responses.
• Draft, edit, and organize proposal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client specifications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with sales, technical, and marketing teams to gather necessary information and content for proposals.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance.
• Project Management:
• Manage the RFP process timeline, ensuring timely submission of all proposals.
• Track multiple RFPs and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Content Management:
• Maintain and update a repository of standard responses and proposal templates.
• Continuously improve proposal content based on client feedback and market trends.
• Compliance and Quality Control:
• Ensure all RFP submissions are compliant with client requirements and company standards.
• Review and proofread proposals for grammatical, formatting, and content errors.
• Market Insights:
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and client needs to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in RFP/proposal writing or business development roles.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
• Knowledge of EV and SaaS industries is a plus.
