Responsibilities:

Packaging Design and Development

• Develop innovative designs for primary and secondary packaging materials.
• Ensure packaging designs comply with customer requirements and industry regulations.
• Adapt designs to accommodate manufacturing setups and packing machine limitations.
• Stay updated on the latest packaging trends and technologies to implement best practices.

Vendor and Customer Coordination

• Liaise with vendors to source appropriate packaging materials.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality materials at competitive prices.
• Communicate with customers to understand their packaging needs and preferences.
• Ensure clarity and alignment between customer expectations and final packaging outcomes.

Artwork Management

• Oversee the creation, revision, and approval of packaging artworks.
• Coordinate with graphic designers and regulatory teams to ensure compliance.
• Maintain an organized archive of artwork files and versions.

Manufacturing Collaboration

• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure packaging designs are feasible for production.
• Conduct trials and tests to validate packaging designs on the manufacturing line.
• Troubleshoot any packaging issues that arise during production.

Material Planning and Logistics

• Plan and schedule material requirements to align with production timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials to prevent shortages or excess.
• Implement strategies to optimize material usage and reduce wastage.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of materials from vendors to the manufacturing site.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Ensure all packaging materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Project Management

• Lead packaging projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed documentation of packaging specifications, approvals, and changes.
