We are looking for a Technical Leader to drive the architecture, technology, design, quality and modernization initiatives of Everbridge s products.

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong JavaScript experience to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing test automation frameworks and strategies to ensure the highest quality of our software. You will collaborate closely with development teams to build, test, and deliver robust and scalable products.

What You ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using JavaScript
Write and execute automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Collaborate with software engineers and QA teams to define testing strategies
Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing
Perform both functional and performance testing to ensure application reliability
Advocate for quality and drive adoption of testing best practices within the development teams.

What You ll bring

5+ years of experience as an SDET or in a similar role
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including experience with test automation frameworks like Playwrite or Cypress
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and best practices
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or CircleCI
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Added advantage

Experience with API testing using tools like Postman
Familiarity with cross-browser testing and mobile automation
Knowledge of cloud environments like AWS
