Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Area Sales Manager with up to 4 years of

experience in the commercial automobile sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for

achieving monthly retail targets, managing dealership operations, and ensuring optimal product

availability. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep

understanding of the commercial automobile market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieving Sales Targets:

• Achieve monthly retail targets through both retail and dealer channels.
• Implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share.

• Dealership Management:

• Handle assigned dealerships and manage retail operations effectively.
• Ensure the availability of defined SKUs and monitor retail movement at

dealerships.

• Field Visits and Activations:

• Develop and execute weekly and monthly field visit and activation plans.
• Participate in meetings at Tehsil and district levels with a focus on rural markets.

• Customer Mapping and Segment Analysis:

• Map all customers in major segments such as gas, water, milk, FMCG, logistics,

electronics, etc.

• Identify new business opportunities within these segments.

• Financing and Loan Events:

• Establish and maintain tie-ups with banks and financers to facilitate vehicle

financing and loan events.

• Collaborate with financial institutions to execute financing solutions for

customers.

• Payment Collection and Fund Tracking:

• Oversee payment collection processes and track fund rotation at dealerships.
• Ensure timely payments and address any discrepancies promptly.

• Sales Team Review and Training:

• Review the performance of dealership sales teams and Territory Sales Executives

(TSEs) regularly.

• Conduct training sessions for Dealership Sales Executives (DSEs) and TSEs on

product knowledge, sales pitch, competition analysis, and performance

monitoring.

• Monitor key performance indicators such as the number of enquiries generated

and enquiry-to-retail conversion rates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• Up to 4 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the commercial automobile sector.

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Strong understanding of the commercial automobile market and industry trends.
