Skills Required
Minimum 5+ years Experience in motor control algorithms and implementation
Working experience with ACIM and PMSM
Expert knowledge of Embedded C/C++, well versed with ARM Cortex M0/M3/M4/M7 microcontrollers
Strong knowledge with Electronics hardware designs and troubleshooting
Experience utilising the MATLAB / Simulink toolset for the generation of control algorithms ready for deployment within embedded systems
SW Architecture development according to ISO26262
Knowledge of electric motors and drive / commutation strategies e.g. Field Oriented Control (FOC) or Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) techniques.
Essential Qualifications
PhD/M.Tech (Power Electronics) / B.Tech (Electrical and Electronics) with 5+ years of experience in designing motors controllers for Electric Vehicles.
