Eton Solutions - Full Stack Developer (Financial Services)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with 68 years of experience to design and deliver innovative solutions for financial services applications. This role requires expertise in C#, Angular, JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL Server, combined with strong hands-on experience working with Azure cloud components and Low Code platforms. As an individual contributor, you will leverage your deep understanding of financial services and cloud-based architectures to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. A strong foundation in SQL Server development is critical to success in this role, complementing your full-stack and cloud skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#, Angular, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Build and enhance responsive user interfaces, ensuring seamless user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
• Create and optimize RESTful APIs to enable efficient communication between client and server components.

2. Database Development and Optimization

• Develop and maintain complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data models to support application requirements.
• Conduct performance tuning for SQL Server queries and stored procedures to ensure fast and reliable database operations.
• Work with financial services data models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

3. Cloud Development and Integration

• Design and implement scalable solutions using Azure components, such as Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
• Utilize Low Code platforms to accelerate the development of specific business applications and workflows where applicable.
• Ensure the seamless integration of cloud components with on-premise systems and external APIs.

4. Problem Solving and Independent Contribution

• Act as an individual contributor, independently solving complex challenges and delivering high-quality code with minimal supervision.
• Analyze business and technical requirements, propose solutions, and deliver well-architected designs that meet both functional and non-functional needs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the full application stack.

5. Collaboration and Agile Practices

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to the Agile development lifecycle, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior developers where required, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 68 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with demonstrated expertise in:
• C# and backend application development.
• Frontend frameworks like Angular and JavaScript (HTML/CSS skills are a bonus).
• Server-side frameworks like Node.js for building scalable APIs and services.
• SQL Server, including complex query development, stored procedure optimization, and performance tuning.
• Prior experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Backend Development: Expertise in C# and server-side technologies.
• Frontend Development: Advanced proficiency with Angular, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks.
• Database Development: Strong command over SQL Server, including query optimization and working with large, complex financial datasets.
• Cloud Development: Hands-on experience with Azure components, such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Low Code Platforms: Experience with Low Code tools to build efficient, time-sensitive solutions is a plus.
• API Development: Proficiency in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is a bonus.
