Eton Solutions - Azure DevSecOps Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure DevSecOps Manager with 45 years of experience managing Azure cloud resources, delivering SaaS products, and implementing secure, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure SQL, Azure API Management (APIM), and core Azure services like Logic Apps, Function Apps, Azure Defender, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Monitor, combined with a strong background in secure IP network design and firewall management. This role is critical to ensuring the secure and efficient delivery of SaaS applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Azure Cloud Resource Management:

• Manage and optimize Azure cloud resources, including Azure SQL, APIM-based APIs, Logic Apps, and Function Apps for SaaS solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and cost efficiency while meeting business requirements.
• Implement and manage high-availability and disaster recovery strategies for critical Azure resources.

2. Secure Network Design and Management:

• Design secure IP networks within Azure to ensure optimal connectivity, isolation, and performance.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, network security groups (NSGs), VPN Gateways, and other Azure networking components.
• Regularly audit and improve network configurations to enhance security and reduce vulnerabilities.

3. Logic Apps and Function Apps Management:

• Develop and maintain workflows using Logic Apps to automate business and deployment processes.
• Leverage Function Apps for scalable and serverless backend solutions supporting APIs and SaaS features.
• Monitor and optimize Logic Apps and Function Apps for performance, cost, and reliability.

4. DevSecOps Implementation:

• Design and manage secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines to automate the deployment of SaaS applications.
• Integrate security practices into every stage of the development lifecycle, including vulnerability scanning and threat detection.
• Use Azure Defender to monitor and protect workloads against potential security threats.

5. Monitoring and Operational Excellence:

• Set up and maintain robust monitoring systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for system health, performance, and security.
• Configure alerts and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into infrastructure and applications.

6. Collaboration and Process Optimization:

• Partner with development, security, and operations teams to deliver secure and efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate Logic Apps and Function Apps into the SaaS architecture.
• Continuously improve deployment workflows to enhance reliability, scalability, and speed.

7. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for Azure resources, network configurations, Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
• Train and mentor teams to adopt secure Azure practices and tools effectively.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 45 years of experience managing Azure cloud environments and delivering SaaS products.
• Expertise in Azure SQL, Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
• Proven experience in secure IP network design and managing firewalls within Azure.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Azure Pipelines, Azure Defender, and Azure Monitor.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure networking (Virtual Networks, NSGs, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute).
• Experience with Logic Apps for workflow automation and Function Apps for serverless solutions.
• Familiarity with scripting and infrastructure automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes on Azure AKS) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on security and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and deployment.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Security Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect.
