AGM - Finance

Role & responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting processes. Ensure financial health by monitoring cash flow, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Leverage CA certification to provide insights on financial compliance and cost control.
• Operations Management: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across various departments. Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring high levels of performance, engagement, and professional development. Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement internal controls and risk management strategies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and business partners.
• Process Improvement: Identify and drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize workflows, processes, and business systems.
• Decision-Making Support: Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the General Manager for decision-making and strategic planning.
• Project Management: Lead or support cross-functional projects, ensuring timely and successful execution, while managing resources, timelines, and risks.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) completed mandatory.
• A Bachelor's or master's degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in managerial roles, with a proven track record of success in financial management, operations, and team leadership.
• Prior experience as an AGM, Senior Manager, or in similar leadership roles.
• Skills:
• Strong financial acumen and expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• In-depth understanding of operations management, risk management, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to implement tactical plans.
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ERP software.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
