Senior Corporate Strategy Head
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in Investor Presentation, Budgeting, Forecasting, Strategic Planning
- Assist in creation of AOP and LRP
- Run analysis to test business hypothesis using sales, finance, marketing and product data sets
- Liaison with multiple departments to run validity of analysis
Detailed Role Description (Reporting To AVP, Corporate Strategy):
- Monitor competitor activities, including product launches, pricing strategies, and market positioning, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
- Utilize statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict future market trends, demand patterns, and consumer behavior.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, R&D, and Sales to align strategic objectives and ensure effective execution of initiatives.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
- Communication & Reporting: Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and updates for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and board members. (50%)
- Investor Relations: Support in managing investor communications, fundraising efforts, and pitch deck preparation. (20%)
- Business Analysis: Conduct market research, data analysis, and competitor benchmarking to provide insights for decision-making. (10%)
- Problem Solving: Identify business challenges and work with relevant stakeholders to propose and implement solutions. (10%)
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across functions (Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations) to drive project execution and deliver measurable results. (10%)
- Special Projects: Take ownership of ad-hoc projects that are critical to the company's growth and success, working directly with the founding team on execution. (based on performance)
- Growth & Scaling: Assist in scaling operations, improving processes, and ensuring smooth execution of strategic initiatives. (based on performance)
- Collaborate within corporate strategy and with business unit teams to solve complex business problems
- Translate business requests into well-defined problems
- Perform FTAM (Future Total Addressable Market) assessments to identify new growth areas that determine where we will play and how can we win
- Develop growth strategies for existing/new markets and product lines across business units
- Identify key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect our businesses
- Create analytical models and business cases to address key business questions and translate output into clear findings and recommendations
- Support the successful development and deployment of the annual strategy development process and Board of Directors review
- Conceptualize and determine portfolio rationalization/prioritization initiatives to improve our profitability
- Support with M&A target identification and due diligence
