Technical Leadership Program (TLP) Overview:

Essar Metal and Mining is offering a 1-year Technical Leadership Program (TLP) designed to develop future leaders for core functions in Iron Making processes. This structured program provides hands-on experience in areas such as Pelletization, Beneficiation, Concentration, Material Handling, Mining, Structural, Piping, and Automation. Participants will be rotated through different stages of Project Management, Commissioning, Operations, and Maintenance to gain comprehensive expertise. Candidates will have the opportunity to work at both domestic and international locations.

Role & responsibilities

• Project Commissioning: Support commissioning of new projects, collaborate with teams to install and integrate equipment, and ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, optimize plant performance, monitor parameters for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Develop maintenance schedules, resolve operational issues, and ensure plant safety and environmental standards.
• Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement innovative solutions.
• Cross-Functional Exposure: Rotate through various Iron Making processes to gain diverse experience and work in both domestic and international locations.
• Leadership Development: Enhance leadership skills by managing teams, mentoring junior members, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Mining, Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields from IITs, NITs, or other premium institutes.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Pelletization, Concentration, Beneficiation, Material Handling, and other related processes, including Project Commissioning, Operations, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge of Iron Making processes, familiarity with automation tools, and excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
