Role: Data Governance - Lead/Architect

Location: Gurgaon/ WFH

Desired Industry Experience: 10+ years

Relevant Experience: Data Architect, Data Governance, Azure Purview, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse

Academic Qualification: B.E. / BTech / MCA

Onsite Opportunity: Initially 3 months from UK.

Open to work in UK shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance Strategy:

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance objectives.

Tools and Technology:

• Manage Azure Purview for data mapping, data catalog, and lineage tracking.
• Use Azure Data Factory for data quality monitoring and governance enforcement.
• Secure data access with Azure Active Directory and safeguard sensitive information with
  Azure Key Vault.
• Implement data retention and archiving policies with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Monitor compliance using Azure Monitor and Azure Security Center.

Architectural Skills:

• Design and implement data governance architecture using Azure services.
• Develop automated data movement and transformation processes.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory compliance standards like GDPR and HIPAA.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Azure services (Purview, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Active
  Directory, Key Vault).
• Knowledge of data governance principles and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Certification in Azure or related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data
  Engineer Associate).
• Experience with metadata management and Data catalog.
• Familiarity with data privacy and protection regulations.
• Open for Short- Term onsite role (initially - 3 months from UK).
• Open to work in UK Shift.
• Shift Time: UK Shift (1:00 PM - 10:00 PM IST).
