Event Planning: Collaborate with clients to plan and customize events, including menu selection, seating arrangements, décor, and entertainment.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring they provide excellent service.
Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure events are financially viable.
Scheduling: Create staff schedules, including shifts and assignments, to ensure adequate coverage for events.
Logistics: Oversee event logistics, including setting up banquet rooms, arranging tables and chairs, and coordinating with kitchen staff for food preparation.
Client Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide updates on event progress.
Quality Control: Ensure the quality and presentation of food, beverages, and service meet or exceed clients' expectations.
Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for event-related services, such as florists, decorators, and audio-visual equipment providers.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, liquor laws, and health standards for food service.
Problem Resolution: Address issues or challenges that may arise during events, including handling guest complaints and emergencies.
Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring all charges are accurate and accounted for.
