Manager/Sr. Manager - Portfolio Management Services (PMS) Operations

Reporting to: Associate Vice President

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a PMS Operation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Portfolio Management Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of investment management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing day to day operations of PMS

• Execute and reconcile trades efficiently, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and timely issue resolution

• Monitor trade settlement processes and collaborate with brokers to address any discrepancies

• Tracking and updating corporate action in PMS

• Calculating fees and profit sharing for PMS on periodic basis

• Handles and resolve all Queries of clients, RM and distributors

• Co-ordination with various stakeholders like Custodian, Broker, fund accounting team etc., tax consultant, Banks

• Ensuring submission of periodic/ad hoc reporting to SEBI and responding to regulatory inquiries

• Liaison with internal/external auditors

• Making required MIS for reporting to senior management and regulatory authority

• Handles all type of client communication

• Maintain and keep all records of PMS

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements

• Oversee cash flow management for portfolios and funds, ensuring optimal liquidity and adherence to investment guidelines

• Monitor cash balances, fund transfers, and reconcile cash movements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field

Proven experience in portfolio management system operations.

Strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in relevant software and systems (e.g., PMS platforms, Excel, power point).

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
