Operation Executive

Role & responsibilities

-Communicate effectively with vendors, transporters, shipping lines, and yards daily to ensure smooth operations.
-Act as a liaison between customers, the sales and marketing team, and other internal departments to execute orders accurately and efficiently.
-Collect and organize basic documents required for container processes.
-Generate and analyze MIS reports to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
-Manage the ERP system to ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry and reporting.
-Oversee shipping operations to ensure timely delivery and proper handling of goods.
-Handle other basic operations tasks related to is Visakhapatnam port as assigned.

Preferred candidate profile

-Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or shipping industry.
-Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
-Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
-Proficiency in MS Office suite and ERP systems.
-Knowledge of Mundra port operations is preferred but not required.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
