Overview JD for Senior Associate - Tax and Compliance Fair knowledge of Direct Tax laws and compliances Monthly computation and payment of tax liability, filing of returns within prescribed timelines Compiling, preparing and filing of applications and follow up with departments for refunds, rectifications, etc., Fair knowledge of Double Tax Avoidance Agreement and MLI; Understanding of Transfer pricing Regulations and preparation of report for audit proposes; Understanding of Tax Audit report and preparation of forms for audit proposes; Collation of facts and details from relevant teams for preparation of submissions/ replies to various tax authorities; Representation before Tax Authorities for tax related matters; Assistance in Internal & External reviews & audits; Timely preparation of details for group reporting; Working knowledge of Sri Lanka tax compliances would be an added advantage Qualifications Desired Qualification & Experience: Com., CA Inter and/ or MBA with 2-3 years working experience in tax domain Working knowledge of ERP package viz., Oracle, SAP and MS Office Good communication and drafting skills Good team player Ability to manage the work efficiently, independently and within constrained timelines
